Counselling and Psychotherapy gives you an chance to share your problems in confidence with someone trained in listening. A counsellor or psychotherapist can provide you with a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment to explore thoughts and feelings about yourself and your relationship with others and may help you to make significant changes in your life.
Counselling is a popular term for dealing with psychological problems through discussion and exploration. This is usually short term (Cognitive Behavioural techniques and Time Limited Counselling).
Psychotherapy explores issues in greater depth and therefore usually takes longer (Existential Analysis and Integrative Counselling).
In our first meeting we will look together at the best possible choice of therapy or a combination of therapies, suited to your particular needs and requirements.
The sessions are on a weekly basis, scheduled on the same day and the same time. This time slot is specifically dedicated to you and will not be used by the psychotherapist for any other purpose.
