EMOTIONS.
Emotions always have a meaning.
They reflect the world view, which in turn reveals life values, beliefs, fixed views and sedimentation and often function as ways of maintaining self-esteem.
Emotions can be experienced in an un-examined or reflective examined mode.
One of the mane purposes of existential therapy is to allow the unreflective to become reflective.
Reflecting/examining emotions allows our world view, life values/beliefs, fixed views and sedimentations to come to light, enabling us to explore and challenge parts it.
